This summer marked the return of the Alpha Delta Phi Convention to Minnesota. The MN brothers worked hard to get the chapter house in good shape to host their national and international guests for a weekend of good food and great friends. A Friday evening reception at the University of Minnesota’s Weisman Art Museum kicked off the 185th Annual Convention in the shiny Minneapolis building designed by world-famous architect, Frank Gehry.
Saturday evening saw over 100 guests in attendance at the Minnesota Chapter’s 125th Anniversary Gala Banquet, held at the McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota. In celebrating the past 125 years of Alpha Delta Phi at Minnesota, we were honored to share it with our brothers from nearly every other ADPhi chapter. After social hour and dinner, we were invited to listen to speakers and cheer on brothers and alumni who received awards for their dedication and contributions to the organization.
Sunday morning brought the brothers together one more time for the MN Chapter’s Annual Classic Golf Outing at Les Bolstad Golf Course.
It’s always a rare privilege to host the Alpha Delta Phi Convention, and the Minnesota Chapter would like to thank those who attended for their support and contribution to our fraternal organization. Special thanks to those who dedicated their time and effort to prepare and organize these events to ensure a fantastic time was had by all.
